Surprise! Not industry friendly....

Amidst the attack on Toyota by the US government, its no surprise that they view the current administration as a problem. According to an internal and confidential memo, Toyota lists these as challenges:

Are you really surprised? The government now owns GM and is threatened by the current success of Toyota. Sure Toyota had their problems with their gas pedal problems, but the government media is now attacking them for a "possible problem" with the steering that has less than 100 complaints? So what happens now? The heads of the company are brought into Congress and they'll be attacked, on nation television, just like the US automakers and oil company execs.

I personally won't buy a GM vehicle, because frankly, they don't last as long as a Toyota or Honda. Now people always say, "Well its the American thing to do." Well my Toyota is built here in America, so it is the American thing to do. Until GM gets its act together, I'll continue to buy Toyota.

I've also said this long before, don't buy GM products....more now than ever. I'm stuck with one since my wife wanted a Saturn. Its a piece of shit that I'm stuck with for several more years because it only has 37k miles on it and the value has dropped. Sometimes I secretly wish that someone would wreck it, and total it out (without anyone getting injured) so I wouldn't have to drive the damned thing.
